    Windows 11 MS Account Switch to Local Account


    Hey, I've created a Windows 11 MS Account on my Machine, however I want to switch back to my local account -- I thought I would be able to switch between the accounts similar to previous Windows versions where you pick which account you want to use. I have tried switching using the Account - Switch to local account in the user panel but this asks me for a password unsure which account this password is for, the current one or the local account? The issue is that I previously signed in with the facial recognition on the local account and the account password for the local account doesn't seem

    Mybe you have to set your Windows account password. Not sure at which step are you..

    I did as suggested and got very close to it but see below:

    Despite the error message, I could log back in with the password for my local account!!
    Thank you very much for your very effective suggestion. I posted the above because of the error message, but after all, the error message could be in error.*Wink

Is there any way of access the files from the local account and/or logging in using facial recognition like normal?
