Windows 10: Windows 11 - network file copy - stuck on Calculating time remaining

I am trying to copy a file from a network drive SMB - Asustor NAS to my computer, it doesn't matter what file or what folder on the network share Windows 11 always gets stuck saying Calculating... and just stops and never completes or at least never does before I finally give up.These are not larger files, I've seen the notes about SMB large file transfers but these are small like, 2mb or less.Looking at my computer I'm on 22H2 build 22621.2428 and I thought this was supposed to be fixed even though it shouldn't technically apply since it's not a large file.I've searched and searched and ca

I got a pre-patience step when the msg "Windows can't be installed on this drive" came up and took time to get past. My NE522 did pass that step and is now stuck on copying files. It is a contest now to see if the man can be more patient then the machine!

*Nerd IT WORKS! In this day of "non-instant means broke" patience still works.

 

Java.nio.file - Copying files

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

 

Ever calculating time remaining and nonadjustable brightness

I am using windows 10(i recently upgraded from windows 7)

I noticed that -1.I could not adjust the brightness(its stuck at 0%)

2.The battery time remaining is always calculating and never shows time left

help.
