Windows 10: Windows 11 - NEW Computer LENOVO - Microphone at 1%

Brand new Lenovo All in One. Spent hours on phone with Microsoft and LenovoNo one can solve the problem of non-working built-in microphone - volume is registering as 1%Reinstalled Windows and Driver.Returned the PC and got a new one - Same issue with new Lenovo PC.Don't know what to do...return the PC again? or just use external microphone from now on?

Lenovo Laptop Windows 11 Microphone

Hi. I had the same issue with mute shortcut on Lenovo and Windows 11, but I FOUND THE SOLUTION:

1. Press Ctrl + Esc
   
2. Type Lenovo Hotkeys (you can click its icon before finish typing)
   
3. It will start like in the first time. You may accept sending statistics of usage or not.
   
4. Move on
   
5. That's it
   

Your mute shortcut will work again, even after restarting your computer.

Unable to use Microphone on the computer

I understand that you are unable to use Microphone on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with this issue.



However, please let us know:

• Were you able to use Microphone on your computer earlier?
  
• What is the make and model of the Microphone that you are using?
  

Ideally, if we add a new Microphone to the computer, we will need to go through the setup process to use it, let me help you with the steps. I would suggest you to refer the article on
How to set up and test microphones in Windows 10 and setup
the Microphone. Once the Microphone is setup, you can start using it.



If you still face issues, I would suggest you to refer the article on
Fix microphone problems and see if that helps.

Lenovo Laptop Windows 11 Microphone

When I'm trying to mute my microphone or unmute it on my windows 11 Lenovo laptop I usually press the mute button located on F4, but every sense I got windows 11 instead of Windows 10 the button doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know what to do to help to fix this button issue? Also muting and unmuting my microphone other ways do work, but the button F4 was my main way.
