Windows 10: Windows 11 no longer allowing offline/local sign in

As of the last couple of days, when I boot up my computer ASUS FX505DY the local account/password that I have always used to log in is not an option. Instead, I'm redirected to sign-in with a Microsoft account. This was an issue today when I temporarily was not able to connect to the internet and needed to log into my desktop anyways and I would like to avoid it in the future. I've looked in the desktop's settings under account and I have not been able to locate local account settings at all, and all of the listed sign in options seem to be for Microsoft accounts. Is there any way to fix thi

Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are

• Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
• No Internet connection during the install
• static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

 

"Sign in with local account" button is not working.

Windows 10 won't allow me to "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead"

I suggest you to follow the methods below:

Method 1

I Suggest you to start the "Microsoft account sign in assistant" service and check if it helps. If its already started then stop it and restart the service.To do so,follow the steps below:

• Type services in the search bar.
• Select Microsoft account sign in assistant service.
• Right click on Microsoft account sign in assistant
  and click stop to stop the service.
• Right click on Microsoft account sign in assistant
  again and click restart to start the service.

Method 2

I suggest you to create a local admin account and then switch to microsoft account and check if it helps:
