Windows 10: Windows 11 not activated after upgrade

I just did a fresh installation of W10 with a new motherboard and SSD. Because it had been so long since I installed it I couldn't locate the physical copy of the product code; I believe it may have actually been a free upgrade from W7 from many years ago. I managed to get the product code from the registry and on the W10 install I input it and it seemed to work just fine. Because of the new hardware the update center offered me the ability to upgrade to W11, which I decided to go for. However, after upgrading the OS is no longer activated. I tried inputting my W10 activation code but it came

Upgrading to windows 11

I have a few questions about windows 11...

1. How many GB it is? when my pc suggested the upgrade yesterday, it said it's about 4GB just want to be sure.
   
2. I'm using a windows 10 pro so if I upgrade, will it upgrade to a windows 11 pro?
   

 

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.

• Call the Toll-Free number provided on top and can activate via phone.
