Windows 10: Windows 11 not booting storport.sys BSoD when CSM enabled.

These are my computer hardware1. ASUS ProArt B550 Creator BIOS 33012. Ryzen 9 5950x3. RTX 40904. LSI MegaRAID 9267-8i RAID controller5. Windows 11 Pro is installed in SATA SSD AHCIWhen installing windows, I had to disable CSM because enabling it would give IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL error with storport.sys. When Windows was fully installed, I restarted the computer and enabled CSM, as the RAID controller only works when CSM is enabled, but this makes Windows fail to boot with the same IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL error with storport.sys. I really need to get this to work because my RAID setup cont

Windows 11 boot stuck after disable CSM and enable Security boot (already in gpt)

I already have my boot options as UEFI and partition type as GPT but , when i disable CSM and enable security boot, the windows 11 is not booting and my computer still stuck.

 

I have widnows 11 isntalled, what will happen if i disable csm to enable secure boot?

Typically to be able to install or upgrade to Windows 11, BIOS would need to be in UEFI Mode with CSM disabled and Secure Boot and TPM enabled.

What method did you use to install Windows 11 on your PC that allowed you to do that without enabling Secure Boot?

If you disable CSM and enable Secure Boot there may be a problem booting Windows 11, sometimes that can be fixed by resetting the TPM keys in BIOS and then Windows will start.

Before you do try that option, please backup your personal files.

If you need to re-install Windows 11 from a bootable USB to enable Secure Boot, there will be no option to keep you personal files or apps, you would need to backup all your personal files before re-installing Windows 11.
