Windows 10: Windows 11 not excepting my correct password

I’ve had windows 11 for a while and my pc randomly started turning off on its own and now it is asking me for my password instead of my pin. I type in the correct password and it says it’s wrong. I’ve tried to change the password and it still says it’s wrong. I don’t know what to do.

To which "this" are you referring?
- If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
- If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

In line with your concern, I would suggest to try using all the passwords you've used in the past and check if it lets you proceed starting in Safe Mode. Also, to better assist you with your concern, I'd like to know the following:

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
2. Click OK.

• What is the make and model of your computer?
• What is the error message that you're getting when you've experienced the blue screen error?
