    Hi,No idea when this started. I sit all day at my work laptop. This is my personal use/home laptop.I get Low battery warning/message pop-up no action.I have noticed Battery Saver being activated.I have reset Control Panel-Power-Advanced Power-Battery back to default, but the values are very low, so change to those below.default low settings did not change behaviourDifficult to see the moment the screen goes black, but I think it is ~15% current settings. However, the battery is dead when I try and turn on, ie it cannot turn on as there is no power, and I have to charge once more. Whe

    Windows not hibernating when reaching critical battery level.

    I have power settings which make computer go to hibernation on reaching critical battery level, and my critical battery level is set to 30% for on battery. Since yesterday, my PC won't go to hibernation on reaching 30%, instead there is a red crosshair which keeps blinking on the battery indicator at the bottom right(see image).Bdw, I am able to hibernate it manually.Any solutions?

    Laptop no longer hibernates on critical power

    Hi Mike,

    The laptop's battery is possibly wearing out. Since you haven't change any settings, we suggest that you change the critical battery level a bit higher so that your laptop can perform a hibernation on a much higher percentage than the default. Follow the
    steps below:

    • Type Power Options on the Start menu search bar.
    • Under Battery, click on Critical battery level.
    • Chang the default percentage to 10% or higher.
    • Click on Apply.

    Windows not hibernating when reaching critical battery level.
