    Hi, I recently installed Windows 11 on my laptop but after an update suddenly the taskbar won't load, and the desktop is blacked out. Please help me ASAP!!

    Hello,

    Desktop background and taskbar going black could be due to software conflicts.

    We would like to know some information to better assist you with your concern:

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Did you get any error messages or error codes?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you try to check if the "Show Windows Background" option is turned on. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Settings in the Start menu.
    • Go to Ease of Access, then on the left side, click
      Other options.
    • Turn on Show Windows Background and check if it works.

    Windows 11 taskbar crashes & disappears with desktop background all black

    Dear all, I would like to seek advice on this particular problem on windows 11. Ever since I updated to windows 11 in feb 2022, while using my laptop, the taskbar icons will just suddenly disappear and it's the same for all the desktop icons, leaving me with a black screen. This has happened before with windows 10 but not as often as now. Whenever this happens, I have to press ctrl + alt + delete to restart my laptop. Sometimes after restarting once, the taskbar will crash again then I have to restart again.

    Anyone faced this problem before? How do I solve this issue?
