Windows 10: Windows 11 not recognizing remount devices thumb drive in my case

Remounting ejected USB Flash drive in Win 10 - Microsoft CommunityI have encountered the same exact problem with thread above, but this only occurs to me recently about 2 or 3 weeks ago on Windows 11. My current Windows build is Version 21H2 OS Build 22000.527. Before today, I can read the same drive again after ejecting by restarting the Windows but starting today, even restarting is not working for me, the device is not recognized with the error. This is not a device issue, as I have tried to connect different thumb drives on different USB ports on my PC, and it is not working. I have

I have IE 11 and windows 10. Toshiba Laptop cannot read thumb drive. The usb port recognizes other devices such as pointing wireless etc but the port will not recognize a thumb drive.

 

Windows 10 will not recognize my 256 gig thumb drive!!

I have followed your steps, and still the same issue. The thumb drive was bought at Microcenter along with 128 gig thumb drive that does work on my computer. The system that will not recognize the 256 gig thumb it is new with no data on it, the system will
not even recognize it to format the thumb drive. I am able to format the thumb drive on my Windows 7 and my friends Windows 10 system, and I did place it back into my system where it still isn't recognized. Device manager does not see the thumb drive or does
the drive manager on my Windows 10 PRO system. My system has been updated and scanned for errors. I do have the CBS.log files from my scan.

I have a usb thumb drive that is not being read or recognized by my computer. It is listed in devices as unspecified and have done the troubleshooting with no success. The status for this device states "Driver error" and "Needs troubleshooting". As I
stated, I have tried to troubleshoot but without success.

I do not want to reformat the drive as I need the information on the device. Is their any way to repair the driver on the usb without losing the information? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
