Windows 10: Windows 11 not running on i7 7500U...

Hi team!How is it possible that W11 will not be compatible with a 2.7GHz i7 7500U? The only 7th gen i7's are the 78XXU ones. Will this change in the close future?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

i7 running hot? Gimme a break.

• Intel Core i7 920 w/ HT (C0/C1 stepping)

• Arctic Silver Compound 5 (copious amounts)
• DFI LanParty DK X58
• NZXT Zero 2 w/ stock fans (3 x 120mm)
• ~40C
• ~60C
• Picture (has low and high)

Ambient is around 24C. Load is WCG/BOINC running 100%.

 

Win 11 compatibility

The WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup says I pass 3 of the 4 requirements, but that my processor isn't supported.

Yet my Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz appears on the list Windows 10 20H2 Supported Intel Processors.

What am I not understanding?
