    Hi,Yesterday while using my PC, I got a BSOD I wasn't able to note the error code after which I started getting popups saying Apps cannot be started because they need a particular version of .NET framework similar to this image:Then I noticed that firewall has been disabled and I am unable to enable it.Then I was unable to connect to internet using wifi, thankfully USB tethering is workingI am unable to download updatesI have KB5020880 installed and currently that is the latest update for .NET framework, so I cannot download and install either.I tried .NET recovery tool, but it failed to do

    I suggest you to follow these methods below to fix your issue:

    Method 1:

    Let's try to perform a clean boot and check. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help to identify if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.

    .NET Framework and then check, if this fixes the issue.

    Let's try to follow these steps below:

    a. Type “Turn Windows Features on or off” without quotes in the search box and hit enter.

    b. Expand “.NET Framework ” option.

    c. Un-check “.NET Framework ”.

    d. Restart the computer.

    Follow these steps to re-install .NET Framework :

    a. Type “Turn Windows Features on or off” without quotes in the search box and hit enter.

    b. Expand “.NET Framework ” option.

    c. Make a check mark next to “.NET Framework
    ”.

    d. Restart the computer.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

    Try the following steps:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    • Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
    • Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer
    • Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer.

    Method 1 I suggest you to run Windows Update Troubleshooter.

    Follow the below steps:

    Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click on windows update.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

    Method 2 I also suggest you to uncheck the
    .NET Framework 1.0 and restart the computer and check if issue persists,

    Please follow the steps below:


    • Right click on start menu and click on programs and features.

    • Click Turn windows features on or off.

    • Uncheck .NET Framework 1.0 and .NET Framework services.

    • Click on ok.
    Once, you have unchecked these, Please restart your computer and recheck
    the .NET Framework 1.0 and .NET Framework services andcheck.
