Windows 10: "windows 11" notifications vanish immediately - need to keep them much longer

Notifications vanish from Notification Center nearly immediately. For example, if I click on the notification as soon as it pops up, within a second of the Center opening the message is cleared. Something is clearing notifications far too quickly!I've followed the instructions to set the App of interest to the top of the list and made sure Focus Assist was disabled.If possible, I'd love to be able to just write them to a file.

Internet data vanishes immediately

Thanks for suggestion . But that didn't worked. I disabled windows update for 1 year. So now even windows update is off or also active. Whenever I connect mobile data to laptop . Al data vanishes immediately. Any solution.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

Just to elaborate what Berton has told you..........that you are on Tablet Mode.
If it is what Berton has suggested, you can have your desktop back. Follow steps below................
Bottom right next to Time, there is a notification icon > click it > click Tablet mode.
You should have your desktop back.
