Windows 10: Windows 11 Office 365 jump lists and OneDrive files.

I have this week installed Windows 11 on my 5 year old PC. Everything is fine except Office 365 jump lists Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Google searches show that this is not an uncommon problem.What I haven't seen in any posts is my problem. Jump list pinning works fine as long as the files are either on my C drive or an external hard drive. Pinning OneDrive files appears to work by adding them to the pinned list but files won't open. Any thoughts please?

Office Jump lists contain two links to each file: local and Onedrive. Onedrive’s cannot be removed from the list (right click has only Open option)

Office Jump lists (I checked Word and Excel) contain two links to each file, when the file was opened locally: local and Onedrive. Onedrive’s cannot be removed from the list (right click has only Open option)

This is on Win 10, with Office 365. The folder is synched with OneDrive.

Is there a certain setup to control it?

In what folder are the jump lists stored?

Microsoft Office Taskbar Jump Lists

I use the jump lists frequently to access Pinned or Recent Files. Approximately a week ago, they stopped working. None of the Office products show the jump lists when right clicking on the product icon. I tried updating/repairing the Office 365 products
which apparently did a reinstall but the jump lists no longer work. Any ideas?

Jump Lists: ‘Remove from this list’ not working with MS Office items

When I right click on a Taskbar icon, I see the jump list. Most of the jump lists allow you to ‘Remove from this list’, as show just below.

However, the jump lists on my Microsoft Word and Excel do not have that option, as per this illustration:

Is there a setting somewhere that prevents or enables the ‘Remove from this list’ taskbar jump list option with Word/Excel (i.e. MS Office)? Windows 10 Version 21H2 Microsoft Office 2019 Version: 18.2110.13110.0
