Windows 10: windows 11 on laptop - no option to change touchpad scroll direction

i have no option to alter the scrolling direction. the option that is shown on many how-to's isn't available on my system. This is an upgraded laptop which is now also wasted as the tablet mode has also been removed which sux. Does anyone know how i can invert the scrolling

How do I change scroll direction of a mouse NOT listed under Mice?

Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.

 

I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop


Hello everyone,
My laptop's touchpad works and I don't want it to, because I prefer a mouse. It's a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series on windows 10 OS.

What I have tried that hasn't worked:

• start<settings<devices<mouse & touchpad<additional mouse options. This opens a window called Mouse Options which has 5 tabs up top, none of which involve the touchpad. The Hardware tab shows 2 devices: the mouse itself, and the USB. No touchpad there.
• windows key+x<mobility center. No touchpad to be found.
• various function keys. No options for touchpad on/off.
• device manager<mice and other pointing devices. Again, only the mouse and usb show up. It appears the touchpad is working without a driver, which is a little spooky.

Any other suggestions? I could try downloading a third party driver, but that seems like a step in the wrong direction.

Reverse touchpad scroll direction? Cannot do it via Touchpad settings

I have a Sony Vaio Tap 11:

On most modern day laptops and even phones, if you swipe up on the touch pad (using two fingers) or the screen, the page or document you are on will scroll downwards.
But on this laptop, the page scrolls up.

So it's opposite to that of other devices.

I would like to reverse this.
I did a bit of Googling and saw that there will be an option in Touchpad settings in Windows 10.
Sadly, since my device's keyboard is wireless and does not have a separate touch pad, my Touchpad settings looks as follows:




Is there any other way of reversing the scroll direction?
