Windows 11 on Laptop unable to connect to a Wireless Network

Hello! I am new here and I'm in an ownership of Surface Laptop 7th Edition with an ARM chip. I've used this device since September last year and had no issues with it. However, today I countered an issue when I tried to connect to Wifi, which as followed:1. Connect to a random network by quick-setting flyout or by Setting app.2. Shown as connecting for 1-2 seconds3. Windows Wifi fly-out gone blank, and in setting only shown 'Random Hardware address' as the only option for a good ~10 seconds. While in Quick Setting flyout from the taskbar, the wifi option dissapears, and the wifi panel itself

  3. Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.

  4. Windows 11 on Laptop unable to connect to a Wireless Network

Unable to display list of wireless networks.

    Hi Richard,

Wireless networks could be set as a private network and that could be a possible reason why you are experiencing issues with viewing some wireless networks within your area. For us to provide better assistance, we would need to know if you are trying to
connect to a public wireless network.

For initial troubleshooting, we suggest performing network reset. Follow these steps to do so:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on Network and Internet.
    • Under Status, look for Network troubleshooter and then click on Network reset.
    • Restart your computer once the process completed.

If the same issue persists, you can follow the steps provided on this
    link
. It provides information and steps on how to address network connection issues in Windows 10.

    Update us with the results.
