Windows 10: Windows 11 on my OEM Asus purchase

Well, my mom needed a laptop so she does not have to squint her eyes while Facebooking on her smart phone. So, I went to my local Best Buy, and looked for something reasonable. With Windows 10, owing to my extreme prejudice against the mistake Microsoft in releasing an upgrade and OEM version of Windows 11 at the same time. I found a display laptop which was simply a better ASUS VivoBook than the one I own. With an Intel Core i3 processor, and 8G RAM. And Windows 10 installed. The guy came over help me, and found the right match under the display shelf. With a few accessories added to my order

Adobe Flash message in IE 11

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )

Returned the ASUS and purchased a Dell

I have made my decision and I am returning the Dell. After my money is refunded, I will have to do research and will have a choice on what to find that fits into my budget but better than the Dell. I hate returning things like this. It is so frustrating. I know a lot of you have recommended brands, models, and told me where to purchase a computer from, but if some of you could re-list some suggestions that would be very much appreciated. I need all of the help I can get with this.

"Flavors" of Windows licenses

Windows can be a little "odd" about license keys. There are at least 4 categories:

• Retail
• OEM
• Volume (electronic download)
• Corporate (no key needed)

For guaranteed success, the license key and media should be in the same category. If you have retail media, you may not be able to install it using an OEM or Volume license key, even though the key is valid for that version of Windows. *Wtf :wtf: Apparently, this is part of Microsoft's anti-piracy scheme (i.e., all customers are guilty until proven innocent).
