    Windows 11 on ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th gen with i7-7500U running Windows 10 pro 21H2


    Hi,I own a ThinkPad X1 carbon 5th generation with Intel core i7-7500U processor running Windows 10 pro 21H2 version. Technically, all my hardware is listed in the supported list on Microsoft website. But the PC HealthCheck app gives me an error saying my processor is incompatible. Please refer to the screenshots attached. I would like to know how I can install Windows 11 given the circumstances.Thanks.

    Upgrading to Windows 10 version 2004 (May, 2020) on ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th Gen

    Has anyone upgraded her Windows 10 to "Windows 10 version 2004 (May, 2020)" on a "ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th Gen" notebook?

    Mine is "X1 Carbon 4th Gen (Type 20FB, 20FC) Laptop (ThinkPad) - Type 20FC".

    According to Lenovo support page (Lenovo devices tested for Windows 10 version 2004 (May, 2020) - Lenovo Support TR), only Gen 5 and above ThinkPad X1 Carbon notebooks have been tested for Windows 10 version 2004.

    Any experiences you can share regarding Carbon 4th Gen?

    Which pen would work with Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 2?

    Hi All,

    I've been having a VERY difficult time identifying a pen that would work with my thinkpad...I think the lenovo support agent was also having a hard time identifying one, which is surprising, as it has a touch screen on it.

    Here is the specifics of my machine:

    X1 Carbon 2nd Gen (Type 20A7, 20A8) Laptop (Thinkpad)

    Any advice would be most appreciated.
