Windows 10: Windows 11 OS Build 21996.1 Upgrading Windows 11 Without Data Loss?

I recently realized that I'm on Windows 11 OS Build 21996.1 and I'm a bit concerned about whether I'll be able to receive the latest version updates. From what I've read, it seems like I might not be able to update to the latest version without performing a clean install.I have some important data on my PC that I can't afford to lose, so I'm wondering if there's a way to upgrade to the latest version of Windows 11 without losing any data. Can anyone confirm if this is possible? And if so, could you provide some guidance on how to do it?Thanks in advance for any help

Windows 11 and data loss

Hi there! My PC meets every requirement needed for windows 11 and have got the Upgrade to Windows 11 in Windows Update. I've seen a lot of articles which talk about data loss if I upgrade to windows 11. I have an external hard drive and have backed up personal and important files there. If I upgrade to windows 11 THROUGH WINDOWS UPDATE IN SETTINGS will I lose installed apps and other stuffs? For safety, do I want to create a SYSTEM IMAGE before upgrading?

Upgrade to Windows 11

I want to upgrade my OS from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I have run the compatibility software and got the message that says my Windows 10 software is not compatible with upgrading to Windows 11. I'm looking for a point & click application that will make my Windows 10 OS upgradable to Windows 11 or a file that will provide step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish the upgrade to Windows 11. I expect a list of files/applications that will not run in Windows 11 because my PC is not capable of running the new applications w/o hardware upgrades.
