Windows 10: Windows 11 Outlook Highlight is very glitchy

Hi,This is regarding a work PC issue.When I highlight a sentence or paragraph to delete it, the document responds by highlighting far more text than is intended. Outlook has captured text that was far below the area that was highlighted by my mouse. I am having to type everything due to an overly aggressive highlight response even though my cursor is in the right spot.I used to be able to copy and paste documents from emails just fine.However, now, I have to click accessibility in order to 'edit' the documents. Even when I do this, when I highlight over the text, it is very buggy and

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

No. Also I followed the steps on Manage suggested recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes with Auto-Complete

cleared this list (Empty Auto-Complete List.)
disabled the option ("Use Autocomplete list..") and again cleared the list
relaunched Outlook in between
still those very old email addresses show up.

I give up.
