Windows 10: Windows 11 password box in log in screen not appearing

Password box where i supposed to put my password on my Windows sign in screen is not showing. I cannot log in to my computer because of this. I even tried setting up my computer into Safe Mode but still, nothing happens.

it actually did thank you. However, it took around a minute after clicking the log in screen to have the box appear and then be able to enter the password. that would also mean that i would need to keep clicking on the page until the box appears otherwise
it would reset.

the weird thing is that i didnt have this issue after a restart (i had it only when the laptop goes to sleep). Now, the delay also appears after a restart

i did not enable any of the programs yet. i guess that would be the next step?

I use Windows 11. Since day before yesterday, when i boot my system and reach the log in screen, i do not see the password box. I just see a Sign-in link. When i click on that link, another window pops up where i enter my log-in password. That then takes me to a screen whether i want sign-up for Windows Hello. When i close that Window, i reach the start screen and am able to do all my work.

My question is how do i get the simple password box on the log-in screen at start up (the way it was till 2 days ago).

Please help.

I have been having this problem for some time now and I have searched a lot of article on the similar problems and youtube channels and nothing seems to be working for me.

I log in perfectly fine on my laptop but if it goes to sleep and I go back to the log in screen the password box never shows up. I tried waiting for several minutes since my laptop is quite old thinking that it needs time to boot, but nothing happens. the
only fix is to completely restart it to be able to log in.

tried the following workarounds I found on the net:

• tried pressing ctrl+alt+del and nothing happens
• tried clicking on the network icon several times and still nothing happens
• I can restart just fine without going to safe mode and if I do restart I can log in just fine.
