Windows 10: Windows 11 path to long

Discus and support Windows 11 path to long in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; So this is just odd every other utility can extract these files.     So this is just odd every other utility can extract these files. This is such a simple thing why not update it to not care?Ensure you read this...Even though the path is to long if you double click on the zip and copy the first folder and paste it into another directory all the files are there. If you extract you can get the "path to long" issue.RegEdit at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem "LongPathsEnabled" set to 1 with reboot doesn't fix it either.Lets get this fixed so it is no longer an issue in Windows.

    Is it risky to enable long file paths on Windows 10?

    Windows 10 has an option to allow for longer file paths (background). Is it risky to enable this option?

    I ask because I've heard mixed comments about how there can be bugs related to long file names.

    Question: Does enabling long file paths increase the risk of file loss or corruption on Windows 10?

    Hmm, bad news I'm afraid. In this thread I see replies from
    apparently well-informed people claiming that even though Windows 10 is ready for long paths, Windows Explorer is not. It is suggested that a 3rd party fileviewer "One Commander" does support long paths.

    Sorry to hear that. Will you be able to provide the steps that you already performed aside from modifying Long Paths in Local Group Policy and Registry? Have you somehow tried to perform some of the easier steps like finding a file that could have a very long
    filename which may have caused this or something simple like renaming the root folder as describe in the article I sent? Thank you.
