Windows 10: Windows 11 PC asking for password when I never set one up?

Brand new out of the box PC, I set up via my work email. I never set a password. set everything up with my outlook account.I turned the PC off came intoday and it asked for a password. I put in my password for my email and it did not work.There is also another option for " Other user" it says to login in with work or school email, so I tried using another email within the company and that did not work either.I cannot reset this PC either with the standard " Hold shift and hit restart" Help would be amazing!

Gotcha dalchina. I did as suggested from the link you left. Still does not ask for password on wake. So far nothing has worked.

To which "this" are you referring?
- If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
- If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

Windows 10 asks for a password reset upon every login attempt to the machine, there is no password set. (local PC user account)

To help you disable the prompt when you sign in to the computer, please answer these questions:

• Before installing Windows 10, was the computer part of a workgroup?
• Are you using the same user profile from the previous Windows installation?
• Have you tried setting a different password? Does it also ask you to change it when the computer restarts?

Try the steps below to resolve the issue:

• Right-click on the Windows icon on your home screen.
• Select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Click OK if you get a prompt window.
• Type wmic UserAccount set PasswordExpires=False then press
  Enter.

Restart the computer after performing the steps and check if it will still ask you to change your password.
