Windows 10: Windows 11 PC crash/debug while in sleep mode

Hello,Recently I have been dealing with an issue where my PC BSODs while in sleep mode. This is the second time this has happened. The first time it occurred 4 days ago I ran the Memory Diagnostic tool no issues, updated Windows, ran the System File Checker also no issues, as well as CHKDSK and DISM scans. Currently, I have done fixes such as disabling Restart on system error in Settings and setting my Minimum Processor State to 5%. It was at zero percent originally unbeknownst to me. Windows crashes in sleep mode

So umm, I updated my PC to windows 11 but the issue hasn't stopped but just caused more issues. After updating my PC, it worked fine and then I let it go to sleep mode and then it crashed as normal, I restarted it, but windows explorer just wouldn't respond so I restarted it from the task manager and still nothing happened so I turned off my PC from the Ctrl + Alt + Del menu, And then it just refused to reboot, after 30 mins of trail and error It started. I am not going to shut down my PC or let it go to sleep mode until this is fixed. Also my PC only crashes only when in goes to sleep mode because of inactivity but If I set it to sleep mode manually It wouldn't crash.

And now there isn't and minidump folder in window folder, the closest thing I could find was this MEMORY.DMP file and it is 1.24GB.

BSOD every time PC wakes from sleep mode

I have disabled the memory overclock in the bios and did so days ago. All suggestions have been followed with it at 1600. Please see images.







Re: the compatibilty of hardware. I have had the system for over 5 years with all the same components apart from the GPU which was swapped 3 years ago. I have never had any issues until this problem started a several weeks ago.

 

In Windows 11 power-saving mode, clicking the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen will cause a system crash.

Problem description: As the title suggests.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enter Windows 11 power-saving mode.
   
2. Click the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen.
   

Expected result: The login screen should appear and after logging in, the browser should automatically open to view content.

Actual result: The system crashes.

Device information:

• Windows 11 version: 22H2 (22621.1413)
  
• Device: Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 Pro 2021
  
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
  

Other information:

• When plugged in, the system automatically turns off power-saving mode and cannot be turned on manually. The function works normally.
  
• When unplugged, turn off power-saving mode and the function works normally.
  
• When unplugged, turn on power-saving mode and the system crashes.
