Windows 10: Windows 11 PC crashing on almost all games, not always on start up but eventually they all...

all games are crashing by bringing me to desktop or hard crashing and causing PC to have buzzing noise and restarting. PC SpecsWin 11Intel i9-14900K32 GB RamMSI 3080I have used DDU and removed the drivers and reinstalled them. I've verified the game files and when that didn't work, I completely removed the game and all their files and reinstalled them to see if that might be causing crashes. None have worked

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

 

Windows key no longer works in-game, eventually "breaks"

The windows key on my keyboard used to bring up my start menu while I was gaming and now it does not. I had the problem a week or so ago and an update fixed it. But now the problem came back. It's not a big problem but if I leave the game running to go to desktop for something it eventually "breaks" the win key all together and I have to restart to fix it. When hitting the win key with the game minimized it usually highlights the window start key--like maybe another key is stuck?

I tried turning off settings and apps that could affect the keyboard: win 11 "game mode", logitech, etc. There is no registry option to delete and the gaming button is off on my keyboard. Problem occurs with different keyboard as well. SFC scan comes up with nothing.

Looks like the next step is a system restore. But why if it will come back like it did before?

Any more suggestions?
