Windows 10: Windows 11 PC has 1 bar of Wi-Fi while my Windows 10 PC has full bars

So, I have recently bought a new PC. First red flag was the startup; I couldn’t even get through the windows set up because the Wi-Fi bar is at a single dot no bars. I had to use a command prompt to get passed the setup screens.I disconnected all other devices from the Wi-Fi to make sure it wasn’t a bandwidth issue, but even then it still remains one dot.I’m wondering if there are any additional settings I need to tweak to venture on forward; but I see no solutions.

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and sound”.
• Under Hardware and sound, click on “hardware and devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Method 2: The issue may occur if the drivers for Wi-fi are not installed or updated. I suggest you to install/update the latest version for Wi-fi drivers by following the steps below.

• Press ‘windows key + R’ and type ‘devmgmt.msc’ and press Enter.
• Expand ‘Network adapter’ and right click on Wi-fi driver and select update.

To address your concern, you can refer to the troubleshooting steps on this
link. As for the wi-fi icon stating it's status, that is just the logo but does not really necessarily mean that it would be the same function as the previous version. You can either hover your mouse or click on the wi-fi icon on your task bar to know more
details about your connection.
