Windows 10: Windows 11 PC has become very slow

    Windows 11 PC has become very slow


    Happened randomly yesterday. I had used it just an hour prior with no issues and nothing had changed since then but suddenly it began taking around 10 minutes to even get to the login page. I tried restoring from a saved point from a few days ago but it loaded forever, tried resetting but that loaded forever too, and tried to go to the troubleshoot menu to boot in safe mode but it stays stuck on the "Please wait" screen. Today it loaded for a good 30 minutes and then blue screened with the Unmountable Boot Volume error code. I am essentially locked out of my PC and I have no idea what the ca

    PC slow and not responding

    Hi,

    To assist you with your concern, we suggest you to run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter to check and see why your PC is running slow and unresponsive. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting. If you cant find the option, click View By and select Large Icons.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

    File Transfer Speed from Windows 11 to Synology NAS is VERY SLOW vs. Windows 10

    I have a new Windows 11 PC and I'm noticing that the file sharing to my Synology NAS is very slow vs when I transferred files from my older Windows 10 PC.

    File Transfer Speeds:

    • Windows 11 to NAS (DS1520+) = 11.5 MB/s
    • Windows 11 to Windows 10 = 112 MB/s (much faster)
    • File size = 30GB

    Note:

    • Windows PCs and NAS are all Ethernet connected on 1GB home network.
    • Running: Windows 11 Pro 23H2
    • Running: DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 5

    Any suggestions on how to speed this up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Windows 11 PC has become very slow

    Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

    I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?
