I administer a 12 node VMware cluster supporting numerous Windows virtual machines. When running a PC health check on a Windows 10 VM, the results are, The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11. Processor: Intel Xeon Gold 6254 CPU @ 3.10 GHz. The same results are received when attempting to perform a Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade using an .iso file. Following the instructions in the message, selected More about supported CPUs link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-system-requirements-86c11283-ea52-4782-9efd-7674389a7ba3. Then selected list of approved CPU

Processor Included in Window 11 Supported List but PC Health Check says not supported

I would like to upgrade from W10 to W11.

When I run the PC Health Check it tells me that my processor (Intel Core i7-7700T @2.90Ghz) isn't currently supported for Windows 11.

However, when I checked the list of supported Intel processors, mine is included in the list.

What to do? Any advice welcome.

I am using surface pro5 w/ i5-7300U processor @2.60Mhz. I run PC Health Check and received "The processor isn`t currently supported for Windows 11" message. I check acceptable processor list for window 11 upgrade, i5-7300U is in tthe list. What is the problem for my computer.

PC Health Check shows my processor as Intel Core i7-7500U @ 2.70GHz. This is also listed on the list of supported CPU for Windows 11. Why is my CPU not identified as supported?
