Windows 10: Windows 11 PC Not Detecting Controller

I'm experiencing an issue where my Windows 11 PC isn't detecting my controller properly. Here’s what happens:When I press Windows + R and type joy.cpl, the controller is detected, and the inputs like moving the sticks are recognized correctly.However, when I use DS4Windows, it doesn't detect the controller at all.Additionally, the controller isn’t detected on gamepad tester websites like this one.The strange part is that when I connect the same controller to a different Windows 11 PC, everything works perfectly.I'm not sure what’s causing this, so any help or suggestions would be greatly app

Xbox One controller being recognized as a 360 Controller

There are several reasons why your Xbox One controller is detected as an Xbox 360 controller by your PC. It is possible that the controller is not updated or if you previously used an Xbox 360 controller on the PC, it is still detecting its drivers instead
of the Xbox One controller drivers. To properly isolate your concern, please clarify the following information:

• Have you used an Xbox 360 controller on the same computer before?
• Does the error message occur on all of the games that you play?
• Have you tried to update the controller?
• Are you using an Xbox One Elite controller?

My PC cannot detect my pen drive

Kindly provide us more details about the issue so we can assist you better:

• Were there any changes made on your PC prior to the issue?
• Have you tried connecting your pen drive to other devices to check if it's being detected?

In the meantime, we suggest that you do the following steps:

Method 1: Run the Troubleshoot Hardware and Devices

• Press Windows key + R and type Control Panel.
  
• Type troubleshooting in the search bar and click on
  Troubleshooting.
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.
  

Method 2: Uninstall and re-install USB drivers

• Press Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc to open
  Device Manager.
• Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Right-click the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click on
  Uninstall to remove it.
• Repeat these steps for the entire USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Restart the computer. Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.
  

If the issue persists, download the latest USB drivers for your PC from the manufacturer's website.

PC won't detect ps4 controller

Hello Paul,

I have used DS4 for years. It seems that the main problem is Windows 10! However, try these
