Windows 10: windows 11 pc not using any CPU power

I have quite the peculiar problem here, where instead of my computer using 100% cpu all of the time, it always stays at 1-0%. this is a problem because it means that everything takes incredibly long to load, and most apps don’t respond to anything. there are also various programs that are “paused” in task manager, even though there is plenty of CPU left to process them. A while ago, i had a problem where my computer showed a completely black screen after login, and I finally got past that, but now my computer is doing this.

In Windows 11 power-saving mode, clicking the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen will cause a system crash.

Problem description: As the title suggests.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enter Windows 11 power-saving mode.
   
2. Click the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen.
   

Expected result: The login screen should appear and after logging in, the browser should automatically open to view content.

Actual result: The system crashes.

Device information:

• Windows 11 version: 22H2 (22621.1413)
  
• Device: Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 Pro 2021
  
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
  

Other information:

• When plugged in, the system automatically turns off power-saving mode and cannot be turned on manually. The function works normally.
  
• When unplugged, turn off power-saving mode and the function works normally.
  
• When unplugged, turn on power-saving mode and the system crashes.
  

 

Intel CPU not supported in Windows 11

I see that the Intel Core i7-5500u 2.4Ghz is not supported in Windows 11. I see other Intel CPUs listed with less overall power than the i7. Does MS have any plans to expand the CPU supported list?
