Windows 10: Windows 11 PC wifi /network availability options disappeared

I can no longer access internet as I use my mobile hotspot so can’t use trouble shoot option directly to my laptop.I am using an Apple IPad to post so I know not issue with mobile hotspot connectivity.Network adapter shows Intel wireless AC 9560. Are there any known issues.?Issue only happened a few hours ago has something recently been updated / modified to cause thisAppreciate any adviceThanks

WiFi appears in Manage Known Networks, not in Show Available Networks

The list of WiFi connections shown when you click the WiFi icon in the taskbar is a list of all the signals that can currently be seen by the WiFi adapter. The list in Manage Known Networks is a list of all those you have previously successfully connected to, whether or not they are currently available.

The only plausible explanation is that for a while that WiFi signal had been turned off.

 

Weak available wifi signals disappear

i require that i be able to see my neighbors wifi signal so i can geolocate, windows sees them when i first enable the wifi adapter, but after a period of time connected to my home wifi their weak signals disappear from the available network list.

i would like to find stop windows from eliminating the weak networks from the available list.

 

Windows 11 WIFI options and Airplane Mode all disappear

I purchased a new HP Envy Laptop in late April 2022. All worked will with no problem for 4 weeks or so. Then one morning, all my WIFI options and networks were gone. The WIFI networks option did not show in Internet Options at all. I took it in and the technician updated the drivers and supposedly that brought back my network options. Several weeks later it happened again. All WIFI options are gone including the WIFI option itself. The Airplane Mode is viewable but cannot be selected to be changed. This second time the technician stripped all my data again and updated the driver again and was able to "restore" the WIFI and Network selectors. I even asked if I could have Windows 11 removed and Windows 10 installed on my new pc but was told that wasn't an option. All my data was lost both times except for my backups.

Now it has happened for the 3rd time. No WIFI options show under Network & Internet and my computer than not find the 10-12 WIFI options that are normally available including my own. My only option was a inexpensive ethernet connection to my router which works for now. But why does the WIFI section of Network & Internet on Windows 11 disappear?
