Windows 10: Windows 11 - Personalize - dual monitor - monitor 2 in portrait - can't display images...

It chops the picture in half on the 2nd monitor that's in portrait orientation if the picture itself is landscape orientation. and vice versa, if the picture is portait, it cuts it in half on monitor 1.Only way to temp correct it is to go to setup and retell the PC that the 2nd monitor is in portrait mode. This didn't happen on windows 10.Thanks.

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.

Mouse is not adjusting to monitor in portrait orientation.

3. Check USB-C to HDMI Adapter: The problem may be related to the USB-C to HDMI adapter. Try to connect the monitor directly to the laptop, if possible, or try a different adapter.
   
4. Check Monitor Settings: Some monitors have their own settings for orientation. Check if your secondary monitor has such options and if so, make sure it's set to Portrait.

Changed 2nd monitor orientation to portrait. Cannot change it back to landscape.

Using windows 10 on a desktop PC with dual monitors.

Navigated to the display options.

Changed monitor#2 to portrait. Worked normally.

Later (same day) tried to change monitor#2 back to landscape, both screen resolution AND orientation menus are now greyed out ONLY for monitor #2 (the monitor switched into portrait view).

Drivers are 100% up to date.

Hotkeys (ctrl, alt, up/down/sideways) do not do anything to either of my monitors orientations.

How can I enable the resolution and orientation dropdowns again?
