Windows 10: Windows 11 Photo and Video viewing problem

Hi, I hope I am posting this question in the right place. I have transferred photos from my iphone to the PC. They all came across without trouble. However, I am unable to open them. For the video clips it says it cannot open the .mov file because it may be unsupported ... ! They also make reference to a HEVC format on some of them - no idea what that means. With the photos, which are .png and .jpg pictures, it says "it appears we don't support this file format". It is only this year I have had this problem. I have always been able to open video clips and photos in these formats. I have

Windows Photos Export Video Project Problem

We understand the difficulties you are facing with the Photos App, while exporting video project. We were able to create and export the video project. So the issue could be with photos app installed in the PC. I would suggest you
to follow the steps mentioned in these methods.



Method 1: Please refer the steps as mentioned in

Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store article.



Method 2: You can also try to re-install the app using PowerShell. Here are steps to re-install photos app:

1. Open PowerShell (Admin). Right click on the start button and then on PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Then type: get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage
   
3. Once the above command is successful. You can install the Photo app from Microsoft Store.

Unable to view or download videos from websites

To help you suggest steps to resolve the issue, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

• Did you make any specific hardware or software changes prior to this issue?
• Is the issue specific to a particular website?

Internet Explorer 11 comes with the latest version of flash player pre-installed. So, the issue may rest with the particular page having compatibility issues with the Internet Explorer or there may be an issue with the flash
player configuration settings in Internet Explorer. Hence, I would suggest you to try the following diagnostic steps to get started in the correct direction and check if the issue persists:

Method 1:

I would suggest you to try opening the page in the compatibility view and check if you are able to view the video.

Method 3:

As slightly mentioned in the Method 2, make sure that the necessary add-ons are enabled in Internet Explorer. To do this, follow these steps:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Tap or click the Tools button
  
• In the Currently loaded add-ons list, click Run without Permissions.
• Look for the following add-ons in the list that's displayed. If any of these add-ons are listed, make sure the Status for each is listed as Enabled.
  

• Shockwave Active X Control
• Shockwave Flash Object
• Java Plug-in (may be multiple add-ons)
• QuickTime Plug-in (may be multiple add-ons)
• Windows Media Player

Having done the above steps, check if the websites are functioning properly.

video photo viewing problem

In my Lumia 640, I can't view the video in recent viewer in Lumia camera app and also in photo viewer app, and some of the photos defaulted. Only the videos visible in 'files' app., firstly I thought that was the storage problem but my sd card still having
3gb of memory, please help me how to solve this problem.
