  1. Windows 11 Photo Viewer is showing screenshots with a yellow filter

Hello community,my windows 11 photo viewer is showing all images with a yellow filter applied. This image is showing the notepad application top left, a screenshot of this notepad created by the snipping tool at the bottom left and to the right side the image which has been created by the snipping tool opened by the photo viewer app. There is some yellow filter that the photo viewer app is adding to the image.Where can i disable the yellow filter that the photo viewer app is applying to the image?Grateful for any help.

    :)

  2. Microsoft Photo Viewer automatically applies yellow tint to photos

I've been having this problem for months now.

I go through all the steps listed in the replies above but whenever I restart my laptop it reverts to the 'Default' profile which produces the yellow tint.

Is there a way of making the change permanent? Windows Photo Viewer is the only photo app that does exactly what I want it to...

  3. Microsoft Photo Viewer automatically applies yellow tint to photos

Microsoft Photo Viewer applies a yellow filter to all images when I try to view them, if I'm skipping between photos quickly there's a short glimpse of the normal photo before the filter is applied.

This doesn't permennantly change the images however it makes it hard to see the quality of the photos. Unlike any previous issues I can find online it's only the photo that's yellowish not the background.

I've tried to fix this by removing the colour profiles and restarting my pc however this didn't help.

    I'm currently using windows 10

    Thanks in advance,

    Harvey

Windows 11 Photo Viewer is showing screenshots with a yellow filter

    Replacement for photo viewer

    Win ver 19041.388

Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx
