  2. Windows Photos - Multi-select or Import by Month

Was the ability to import by month recently removed from the Windows Photos app? Please bring that back or at least provide a way to quickly multi-select the photos I want to import (i.e. shift-click). Many of us want to manually manage photo backups from
iPhone (and other devices), and if there isn't a multi-select option while importing, please at least keep the ability to select the month to narrow down the photos to import. Please advise if I'm missing something. Thank you!

  3. WINDOWS 10 MICROSOFT PHOTO APP

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

The Photos app brings together pictures from all your devices using OneDrive, so that you can browse them by date, album or folder. It also automatically enhances photos, and creates albums for you, to showcase your best shots.

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps:

    Method 1:

I suggest you to change the Default apps in the setting app and verify the result. You may follow the steps in the below:

    • Go to settings and system.
    • Click on Default Apps and select the appropriately.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to reinstall Photo app using the PowerShell command
and reinstall using the Windows store. Follow the below steps.

    • Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the search bar.
    • Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
    • Enter the below command to uninstall the Photo app.

    • get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage

Multi window tasking in windows phone

    Hello Souvik,

Currently, multi-window tasking feature that you're looking for isn't available. However, that would be a great feature to have on our Windows 10 Mobile platform. We suggest that you request this feature on our Windows Feedback Hub app. To submit
a feedback, you can follow the steps below:

    1. Go to All Apps, search for the Feedback
Hub app or press and hold Volume Down+Power button for about 2-3 seconds to launch the app.
    2. Open the menu icon at the top left side.
    3. Select Feedback, then at the top right side, tap the
      add
      button (+).
    4. Select Suggestion and fill up the box with the details needed.
    5. Select the right category for the suggestion and then submit.

Should you need further assistance, don't hesitate to get back to us.
