Windows 10: Windows 11 PIN Locked/No Sign In Options

My computer died last night and after plugging it in and booting it up, I have not been able to sign in. The only sign in option showing is PIN, which is “disabled due to failed sign in attempts or repeated shutdowns”, and no button is showing to access other sign in options such as password. I really need to access my computer to do homework, please help if you can.

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

Forgot PIN, No other options for signing in on windows 11, just PIN.

Hello. I’m having some issues signing into my Windows 11 laptop.

When I enter the sign-in screen, it only gives me an option to sign in with my PIN, which I have forgotten. There is no option to sign in with a password, nor does it let me say that I forgot my PIN.

How do I enter my laptop when I don’t know my PIN and there are no other ways to sign in on Windows 11?

To resolve the issue regarding locked out in Windows 10, we suggest you follow the steps below:

• Open the “Settings” in Win menu and click on the “Account” icon to enter account settings.

• Choose “Sign-in option” and click “I forgot my PIN”, you can reset your PIN there. If it is a local account, please input the local account login password and then you can reset your PIN.
