  1. Windows 11: Please add support for the Intel i7-6820HK CPU @ 2.70 Ghz processor in Windows 11.

My Alienware gaming laptop is more than powerful enough for Windows 11.It meets all the criteria required for Windows 11 except one: Unsupported processor. It has Secure Boot, TPM 2.0, 16GM RAM, 512GB SSD, nVidia graphics, etc, etc. There seems to be no reason why this processor shouldn't be supported by Windows 11 when the system meets all the other requirements. Please consider adding the support for the Intel i7-6820HK CPU @ 2.70 Ghz with 4 cores.Thank you

    :)

Intel CPU not supported in Windows 11

I have Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz and it is not listed as supported by Windows11 upgrade for Intel cpu match Windows processor requirements Windows 11 supported Intel processors Is there a way we can expect future support for these processors by Microsoft for Windows 11 upgrade? What is the time frame? After all Intel can not dump all our CPUs without extending support, losing the market by buyer confidence

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.60 GHz - is it eligible for windows 11?

    Hi Windows Technical Support team,

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.60 GHz - is it eligible for windows 11?
    As per the below article
    Windows 11 System Requirements (microsoft.com)

    • Processors/CPUs (Central Processing Units): 1 Ghz or faster with 2 or more cores and appearing on our list of approved CPUs. The processor in your PC will be a main determining factor for running Windows 11. The clock speed (the 1 Ghz or faster requirement) and number of cores (2 or more) are inherent to the processor design as it was manufactured and are not considered upgradable components.

As per this description the above configuration is eligible for windows 11 upgrade

      but

Windows processor requirements Windows 11 supported Intel processors | Microsoft Docs

this is not mentioned in windows 11 supported processor list, hence it is not allowed to upgrade to window 11.
I also installed PC Health Check app to see if my PC can run Windows 11 or not, except the process not mentioned in eligible list, rest everything was green, that means it is compatible/eligible to upgrade to windows 11?

    can you please check this?

Intel Core i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00 Ghz processor Windows 11 Compatible?

I just ran Microsoft's "PC Health Check" on my desktop pc to check for Windows 11 compatibility and it says the processor doesn't meet the required specifications. I have Intel Core i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00 Ghz processor. Everything else passed the testing.

However, when I check the processor requirements, the Intel Core i7-6700K CPU is listed as meeting the requirements. Can someone explain this?

I am running Windows 10 Pro, version 21H1, 64 bit, with 32 GB ram.
