Windows 10: Windows 11- Plextor PX-755SA DVD Burner not showing up in File Explorer nor device manager

I have up-cycled this DVD Burner since I built my first PC back in 2006. I received DVDs as an early Christmas gift and realized my PC no longer sees this Drive/burner. To make sure it wasn't some other issue I swapped in new, purchased in August 2021, power and data SATA cables. Still the PC does not see the drive.Does Windows 11 have any support for internal optical disk drives? Is my drive no longer supported due to age?If my drive is supported how else might I troubleshoot?

Plextor Announces PX-755UF 10x DVD+R DL Burner





Plextor today announced its new PX-755UF external DVD±RW/CD-RW burner. The new external burner features IEEE 1394(FireWire) and Hi-Speed USB interfaces for universal compatibility with systems running Mac OS X and Windows operating systems. It is also the first Plextor external drive to feature 10X DVD+R Double-Layer recording speed.
