  1. Windows 11 - poor contrast of "Sign out" text on Start Menu

I've started using Windows 11 Pro. 24H2 recently and selected the following settings in Personalization > Colors:When I click Start > my name in order to sign out from Windows, the "Sign out" text is barely visible as it has poor contrast on the light background:The same applies to "Manage my account" text on that window.I don't see a way to fix this except setting default app mode to Dark, which I don't want to use.Is there a way to fix this bug?-- rpr.

  2. Windows 10 Start menu is empty

Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?

  3. How do I change active window color on high contrast mode in Windows 11?

Hello, I'm Filipe and I'm an independent Community Advisor, and I'll do my best to help you.

    Indeed there is!

You can change the color of the active window in high contrast mode on Windows 11 by following these steps:

Step 1: Click on the Windows icon in the taskbar to open the Start menu.

Step 2: Click on the gear icon to open the Settings app.

Step 3: Click on "Accessibility" from the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Scroll down and click on "High contrast."

Step 5: Click on "High contrast settings."

    Step 6: Click on "Colors."

Step 7: Under "Choose your color," click on the drop-down menu next to "Selected Text."

Step 8: Select the color that you want to use for the active window.

    Step 9: Click on "Apply."

Step 10: Click on "Save" to save your changes.

After following these steps, the active window color should be changed to the color that you selected. Note that some apps may not fully support high contrast mode and may not display the colors that you selected. In such cases, you may need to adjust the color settings within the app itself.

Let me know if this helps!

    Thanks!
