Windows 10: Windows 11 Powerpoint won't let me save to the local computer - only Onedrive.

I bought a new laptop with Windows 11. Powerpoint would only allow me to save to onedrive and doesn't give an option for the local hard drive. When I go into the settings->save UI, the option for 'save to this computer by default' is greyed out and I can't select it. I looked online for how to kill onedrive. It said to unlink the folder and uninstall onedrive. I did both of those things, but still powerpoint only lets me save to onedrive. When I go into the settings->save UI, the option for 'save to this computer by default' is still greyed out and I can't select it.Please help me eradic

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

Xbox and OneDrive won´t log in sometimes

For some reason my one computer won´t log on to the Xbox app and OneDrive. My other computer on the other hand works perfectly fine. I can´t seem to find to reason and even tried with a factory reset and still the same issue. Help?

I´ve allready tried deactivating the firewall and even rebooting the computer

 

PowerPoint file crashes PowerPoint upon opening

since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.
most of the time it works to me. *Smile
