Windows 10: Windows 11 Print Preview Bug

Hi MS Forums,I have encountered a bug with Windows 11's Print preview function.When a image file such as PNG is loaded into the Print Preview dialog, the print preview Window will show a blank image, and uncommonly and when asked to printwill often not print anything.The current workaround I have given users is to resize the print preview window, which causes the file to appear, but users need to print often so this causes quitethe hassle.Troubleshooting done:Reinstalling printer.Swapping drivers from the official Fuji drivers to universal print / IPP print drivers.Restarting spooler.This was

• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
• What is the OS Build of your Windows 10? To know the build of your Windows 10, follow these steps:
  • Click the Windows logo (Start button).
  • Click the gear icon (Settings).
  • Select System.
  • On the left pane, choose About.
• What is the model of the printer that you're using?
• Does the issue occur on all of your images that you're attempting to print?
• Have you checked if the Print Preview window will appear if you will print the image using the
  Share tab in File Explorer? To print an image using the Share tab, follow these steps:
  • Access File Explorer.
  • Navigate to your picture files, and then highlight one file.
  • Click the Share tab at the top of File Explorer.
  • In the Send group, choose Print.

Failed to disable Peek Preview in Windows 11

Hi, everyone!

To implement some custom fetatures I need to disable peek preview for the window. So I call DwmSetWindowAttribute with DWMWA_DISALLOW_PEEK set to True to disallow peek preview. It works well in Win7 and Win10 but in my newest Win11 machine, it sill shows peek preview when the mouse hovers over the window's thumbnail in the taskbar.

And I use a demo from VS2019 to reproduce this bug and still it works well in Window 7 and Window 10, but not in Windows 11.

I also read the SDK document and I don't find changes relevant to this behavior. Do I misuse this interface? If you know the right way to disable it, let me know plz~~

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Open Visual Studio 2019 and New C++ Desktop Project.
   
2. With a built-in demo, disable peek preview with DwmSetWindowAttribute
   

1. Add link dependency dwmapi.lib
   
2. Compile and Run
   
3. Window shows but it still shows peek preview.
   

Expected behavior

No peek preview in Windows 11 22000.829

To assist you better I would appreciate if you could answer the following question:

1. Are you unable to print any documents?

2. What is the exact issue you are facing?

To see what the print copy will look like before you print it, open the document in a program that offers a print preview. Print preview is typically located on the File menu for a program. You should be able to preview
each page of the document. In some programs, you can choose print options in the preview mode, and then print directly from the preview. In other programs, you might have to close the preview, change the document or your printer settings, and then print it.

Arrange all your stuff, and press Old method
Ctrl + P keys shortcut. This shortcut will call the available list of all devices on the right- hand of the screen chooses the choice by scrolling up and down.

While printing, you will come in the center of maximum options which can be use for the printing option. So arrange all your stuff, choose some preferences and go with the Print Button.
