Windows 10: Windows 11 Pro cannot access via network drive

Hi,I am trying to access files via my another PC Windows 10 Pro but it always giving the following error:I have been using this network from the same PC few days ago but today this problem started. I have tried all the methods shown here but still the issue persists.How to Fix Windows 11 Cannot Access Shared Folder Problem ubackup.comThese are my settings currently:Note, I am able to access the Windows 10 Pro PC via network from my Windows 11 Pro laptop.

• Since when are you facing this issue?
  
• What is the version of Windows 10 installed on the computer?
  
• What is the exact error message you’re getting while trying to access the network drive?
  
• Are you able to access the drive using its IP address?
  

I suggest to follow the steps posted by Pauli O and see if it works.

Windows 11 Network Sharing Not working

Hello:

I have 2 Dell laptops

1. Name MADHIRAS runs Windows 10 Pro
   
2. Name CHANDRA runs Windows 11 Pro
   

I am able to access laptop MADHIRAS (Windows 10) from CHANDRA (Windows 11).

However when I try to access CHANDRA (Windows 11) from Madhiras (Window 10) I get the following error message

“Network Error

Windows cannot access \\CHANDRA

You do not have permission to access \\CHANDRA. Contact your network administrator to request access.”

I login to my laptop CHANDRA (Windows 11) using Microsoft account name and password.

Tried various suggestions from internet but of no use. I feel am missing something very basic.

Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Can't access drives on computers on network

I am on a new HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 10. I also have the following on my network, sharing the same domain.

• Laptop running Windows 7
• Laptop running Windows 10
• Desktop running Windows XP
• HP Deskjet printer

I can see the laptops and the printer on the network, and I can access and use the printer. But I cannot access the laptop drives. I am asked for the name and password for each device, but when entered, they are not accepted

What suggestions can you offer?
