Windows 10: Windows 11 Pro disappointing performance

Recently upgraded from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro and my PC has never been that sluggish. My laptop a Dell XPS 15 has 32 GB of ram, 6 cores i7 9750H, a Nvidia GTX 1650 and a 1GB NVMe drive and I can not attend a zoom or MS teams meeting without experiencing lag and/or sound issue. The internet speed is way below what is was under Windows 10 and the overall experience is just a pain. Switching windows or simply navigating in my browser between tabs shows inexplicable delays and pauses.I wish I could go back to Windows 10 but the button to rollback disappeared and I can not afford to

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

VirtualBox: Disappointing performance of Windows 10 guest on iMac Pro

I'm using VirtualBox v6.0.6 on an iMac Pro running macOS v10.14.4. I'm dissatisfied with the behaviour of my Windows 10 guest for two reasons:

• by default the VirtualBox window only fills about 10% of my display, and I'm only able to significantly increase this proportion by scaling (leading to pixelation); and
  
• the VM is very laggy when attempting to play Age of Empires II via Steam.
  

I have allocated 16 GB of RAM and four CPU cores to the VM. I've tried both the VBoxVGA and VBoxSVGA graphics controllers with various video acceleration settings (none, 2D only, 2D and 3D). I currently have 128 MB of video memory allocated to the VM.

I have installed VirtualBox Guest Additions.

It seems a 2017 iMac Pro should be capable of running a computer game from 1999.

Can you suggest any settings changes that might improve my situation?

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )
