Windows 10: Windows 11 Pro FPP activation channel

Hello, I just bought a box of windows 11 pro fpp from some e-commerce. After activation process, I check the software licensing service and I got the result "Product Key Channel: OEMM". I want to make sure that my windows 11 license is genuine, or not?Should the software licensing service say retail rather than oem?Can I change hardware, like transfer this license to new pc?Thanks.

Windows 10 FPP to Windows 11?

I have windows 10 FPP version, and my computer is eligible for windows 11 upgrade.

But in case I decide to buy new PC, could I use features of FPP (able to move operating system to another system) if I upgrade to windows 11?

 

Used a product key which is a FPP but now the license says OEM in Windows 10

I have a query regarding an activated Windows 10 Pro license key.



Scenario:

Earlier the PC had Windows 8.1 Pro (OEM) on and thereafter I clean installed Windows 10 Pro.

This Windows 10 Pro is 'Win Pro FPP 10 P2 32/64-bit Eng Intl USB' which I had bought from an offline channel.



Issues:

Upon checking on license type after running 'slmgr -dli' in the command prompt it returned information that the activated Windows 10 Pro license is an OEM_COA_NLSP.

The product key that came with the retail box (belonged to Windows 10 Pro FPP)



However, the license key used is a FPP one but it says OEM_COA_NLSP?



Please help, as the product key card in the retail box is for Windows 10 FPP and not OEM. I am due to replace the current PC in a few weeks' time and OEM would mean that I cannot transfer the license to another PC. (after removing from the current one of course)

 

Cannot activate Windows 10 Pro FPP after hardware change

Hi,

I have legal Windows 10 Pro FPP license, installed on old laptop. I changed this laptop with new desktop pc, but kept hard drive with the installations. I tried to activate my FPP license on new machine, but it is marked as a OEM in my account. I remove my device in my account, but it is appeared again as a DESKTOP-8LMSU4R "To Be Filled By O.E.M."

Can you remove me OEM and replace with FPP in order to reinstall again Windows 10 Pro FPP. Please see the pictures.

If you want I can give you all information.
