Windows 10: Windows 11 Pro Remote Desktop not working from laptop over internet

I purchased Windows 11 Pro specifically for Remote Desktop Functionality. Despite proper configuration, I cannot connect to my desktop from my laptop over the internet, though connections work over local network.- Remote Desktop works from my iPad over the internet via Windows App- Remote Desktop does not work from my laptop over the internet- Using the same Microsoft account on both my devices- Port forwarding is configured correctly- Have tried all the RD Gateway settings- Tested on multiple networks including home wi-fi and mobile hotspot- All windows settings and services are properly conf

Remote Desktop Login Failed

I just purchased a new Windows 11 system and I am using another Windows 11 system on my laptop to access the system through remote desktop and I get an error that says that the login failed. Something in the new Windows 11 system is blocking logins from remote desktop:

• I am using my standard Windows credentials to login locally. I have Administrator rights to the system, and a local login works fine.
  
• I can use Remote Desktop to login to another similar Windows 11 desktop using remote desktop with the same credentials and that also works fine.
  
• I've enabled Remote Desktop access in settings and specified my account as being authorized to login with Remote Deskttop.
  

I've gone through all the support articles I could find on the internet on this problem and I implemented the group policy fixes that have been recommended but it still hasn't resolved the problem. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Why my credentials do not work when I try to use the remote desktop connection from a laptop ?

All the steps need to be done on Desktop PC with windows 11 Pro to which you are trying to connect, I assume your Desktop PC is windows 11 Pro and Laptop is Windows 11 Home

Make sure below steps are done on Desktop PC and laptop is installed with remote desktop client, no steps required to do on your laptop

Remote Desktop not working

First off, im unbanned wooo

I'm trying to use logmein pro to get windows remote desktop setup for my main computer back home, its 8.1 pro and the remote desktop option in the computer properties is activated. (Also the remote port has been changed in the reg as I have a home server that I remote to as well which works fine). All ports have been forwarded and there's no firewall issues.

The issue is I just completely cannot connect to it using remote desktop. Is this due to logmein being installed? I don't want to uninstall it to test my theory and then be completely cutoff from the pc for 2 months if I'm wrong.
