    Windows 11 Pro - USB Joysticks prevent displays from going into standby.


    When I have my USB joysticks TM HOTAS Warthog Stick and Throttle, TM Peddels connected to my system, my computer will not put the displays on standby after the allotted defined period of inactivity, it is completely ignoring the power settings. If I remove all of my flight sticks, then the screens will switch off. This was not an issue with the same hardware in Windows 10 Pro, fully updated. Is there any way to change this from happening this way, and why did the same products work under windows 10 but not windows 11?OS is up to date and the drivers for the Thrustmaster USB products are t

    Same here, with Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick.

    It was fine with Windows 7, but after update to Windows 10 it prevents sleep.

    Took me a while to figure this out since powercfg doesn't list it as preventing sleep.

    Definitely a Windows 10 specific bug, I hope they fix it soon.

    Ok, 2nd thought:

    Unplug your joystick open device manager & open the usb tab up then plug your joystick in then look on the list for anything that flags up, but if all is well it should similar to this like this pic.

    I have the exact same issue. Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick prevents Windows 10 from sleeping and Microsoft is apparently not listening.
