windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

D drive is showing, but access denied.

E71 Tactile keys

I have purchased a boxed E71 just a couple of days ago.

The upper left corner programmable key (used for keypad lock) is not tactile.But it does otherwise function normally. (All other keys are tactile.)

Is there any problem with my unit? Or this key is not designed to be tactile?
