Windows 10: Windows 11 Problems

Since downloading Windows 11 my laptop will no longer access google. When I redownload it, the google app appears but when I click on it it defaults to Bing. I just paid the Microsoft Store $2.29 to download google earth pro and the icon appears but it will not open either? What's going on Microsoft?ALSO, I pay $99 per year for Microsoft 365 Family. The only reason I continue this is to get Technical Support for these type issues. Now you have eliminated all Technical Support options that I can find. None of the phones numbers work anymore and chat lines are elusive and non-existent.

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter
