    My processor i7- 5930K is socket 2011-v3. It is a bit of an enthusiast platform and at the time of build more expensive. PC water-cooled runs a modest overclock, I actually forget the figure, it is about 4.5 GHz, 6 cores, 12 threads. That is considerably above what minimum specs for support of Windows 11. Yet I am told by the P PC Health Check app that it is not supported. I want to know why?

    Yes, the i7-7500U is on the list of supported processors for Windows 10 20H2

    What you are missing is that the Windows PC Health check is checking against the list of supported processors for Windows 11 - and yours is not on that list.
