Windows 10: Windows 11 professional. Microsoft bluetooth keyboard. How to turn off "Num Lock" since...

Running WIndows 11 with a Microsoft bluetooth keyboard and mouse.There is no "Num Lock" key present on the device.How do I turn the "Num Lock" feature on and/or off?

Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard Toggling Num lock/Scroll lock

Have just purchased the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and have been unable to work out how to toggle Num lock.

I spend much of my time writing software and being able to use the number pad is essential to navigate through code when editing.

Looking through documentation online there is no instructions on how to toggle num lock.

Using the onscreen keyboard to turn num lock off, I see that the Bluetooth keyboard is sending through a turn on numlock when pressing keys on the number pad.

Is there a way to toggle numlock on this keyboard or will I need to purchase another product if this functionality is required?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

microsoft designer bluetooth desktop on screen display num lock and scr lock

I am using windows 10 and Microsoft Designer Bluetooth desktop.

This keyboard has no LED for display NUM lock or SCR Lock.

I tried to install Microsoft keyboard and mouse software to on screen display NUM Lock and SCR lock, but no luck.

It does not affect the performance but it affecting the typing experience.

I realize that you are facing issues with the Num Lock on your PC. I will try to help you with this issue.

You may plug in an external keyboard to the PC to check if the Num Lock issue reoccurs. You may also want to use the on-screen keyboard to check if that helps.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

  Press Windows key + R to get the run window.
  
• 
  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.
